"That Nobody is John Wick"

 A grieving John Wick finds momentary peace in drives with his puppy, a final gift from his recently departed wife Helen. At a local gas station, his pristine 1969 Mustang draws the unwanted attention of Iosef Tarasov - the arrogant and impulsive son of Russian crime boss Viggo Tarasov. Under cover of darkness, Iosef and his thugs invade John's home, stealing his cherished car and brutally killing his puppy. 

What these criminals did not realize was that this "nobody" was the most feared assassin in the elite criminal underworld. In whispered legends, John was called "Baba Yaga," the Boogeyman. As Viggo Tarasov would later reveal to his foolish son, John wasn't exactly the Boogeyman — he was the one you send to kill the f***ing Boogeyman. 

Iosef´s crew didn't just take away a pet - they destroyed John's last connection to Helen, his last chance at a normal life, his last remnant of hope. And in doing so, they awakened something far more dangerous than the Boogeyman himself.
